Frequently Asked Questions

What types of therapy do you offer?

I take a client-centered approach, which means your needs, goals, and experiences guide our work together. Therapy is tailored to you–what feels right, what matters most, and the pace that fits your life. My role is to listen, support, and help you find your own path moving forward.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance but I do offer special rates for individuals affiliated as educators (teachers, admin, school board), first responders, military (active, reserves, veterans), student ages elementary through college, and Medicaid/Medicare.

What does the process to start therapy look like?

Therapy is a collaborative journey. It usually starts with getting to know you—your experiences, goals, and what brought you here. Together, we identify what’s important to you and explore ways to make meaningful changes. Sessions are a safe space to talk, reflect, and practice new skills. Over time, you’ll notice growth, increased understanding, and tools to manage life’s challenges more effectively. The pace is always guided by you—therapy works best when it feels supportive and manageable.

How long are therapy sessions?

I offer 50 minute therapy sessions, either in person or Telehealth, whatever works better for your lifestyle.

What if you could find a way to handle what life throws your way with ease and understanding? Therapy isn’t just for those going through challenging times but is here to help individuals learn tools to thrive and be their best selves. Take the first step toward a balanced, empowering life. It’s time to invest in YOU! Let’s explore how therapy can help to manage stress, build resilience, and live with more clarity and confidence.

I build my practice off of trust and safety in understanding that I provide a judgement free zone for you to be your most authentic self. I help individuals who face challenges with social and emotional connections, regain their sense of trust, respect and maintain healthy boundaries not only for themselves but those around them.

Being vulnerable can be a challenge to admit to yourself. Don’t let the fear of “not having everything together” stop you from gaining valuable tools to build inner strength and resilience. You deserve validation for what you’ve been through and the support to rise above.

Small steps lead to big changes.
